Artist Bio or Résumé
Born and raised in NYC. School of Visual Arts. Mass College of Art and design. Fashion Industry assistant designer. Costume designer. Owner and head designer of Lily Royale Productions; makers of all things in all mediums. Art educator. Paintrix. Performance artist. Poetrix. Each year I produce the Plein Air Painting event at the House of the Seven Gables with the SAA. founded and directs the Gulu Gulu drink n' draw in Salem est. Sept 2016 . Is psyched to host the SAA figure drawing events!
Co-founded with Beki Ferrari the Drawn Together Virtual Live Drawing events every Tuesday during covid 19 lock down we took our Gulu drink n draw on line to host a live drawing event for any one who wants to log on from all over the globe
Artist Statement
I grew up a working class daughter with the love of drawing, designing, sewing, being the class clown and taking in the wonder of life. Since I can remember I held a pencil, a brush or a scissor in my hands. No matter what obstacle my will is to create and to enable others to release their inhibition to create and collaborate.
This has brought me to graduate after SVA attended the Studio for Interrelated Media SIM at MASS ART
All the experience primed me for creating and cohosting a multimedia live drawing event which is currently running on line
