My happy place is by the ocean, Either on it or next to it. From a walk along the coastline and photographing the inner coastal areas to capturing the lighthouses that keep our nautical boats and ships safe in inclement weather.

  • Winter Island Lighthouse after a storm has passed by. Also known as Fort Pickering lighthouse
  • Thatcher Island lighthouse on a frozen morning. Seasmoke floats on the waves from the warmer water and below freezing air temperatures.
  • The sun rises over Thatcher Island lighthouse. This is the north tower as this is the last twin tower lighthouse still in operation.
  • The Lynx which is a recreation of a Baltimore schooner of the early 1800s makes it's way into Gloucester harbor.
