Annual Membership Meeting with Voting for our next Board Members and Executive Committee

Hello Salem Arts Members!

This Sunday, December 16th is our Annual Membership Meeting with Voting for our next Board members and Executive Committee.  

Please join us at our gallery at 211 Bridge Street in Salem, we welcome all members to come vote and hear a short update on the Association by our current president and treasurer. 

Afterwords per tradition, we will have a potluck dinner with refreshments provided and live music (wear your dancing shoes). 

Members may also bring your spouse or a date. 

We will provide some food, beer, and wine. Potluck contributions and beverages to share are encouraged. 

This is also the last day the gallery is open for our 2018 season. We hosted 12 fantastic exhibits along with several other events making 2018 our most energetic year yet. All artwork must be removed from the gallery and shop on Sunday. Do not remove artwork before 5PM Please. The gallery will reopen on Friday March 2nd. 

Schedule as follows:

  • Last Day Open, Sunday, Dec. 16, 12pm-5pm
  • PICK UP of ALL Artwork 4pm-7pm
  • Pot Luck and Refreshments from 6-9pm
  • Voting 6pm-7pm
  • Business Meeting 7:15-7:30pm
  • Voting Results Announced  7:30pm
  • Live Music from 6:30 until 8:30
  • Final Closing 9pm


FREE Concert and Food Drive!

The Salem Common Neighborhood Association is pleased to announce its Holiday Concert at The Bridge at 211. Please join us for free music by the Merrimack Valley Concert Band, as well as a Bake Sale and Food Drive. December 16, 3-5pm

Consider coming for the concert and staying for our party.

Voting Information has been sent previously to our artist members who are eligible to vote for officers and board members. Non-Artist members may not vote. 


If you cannot attend the Annual Meeting you may submit an absentee ballot. Download the ballot form here SAA Ballot 2018.pdf, print and fill out the form and mail to Salem Arts Association PO Box 226, Salem MA 01970.

2018 Board Nominations

Please either attend the annual meeting to vote or mark your voting preferences on the form provided above and mail to Salem Arts Association, PO Box 226, Salem MA 01970.

Absentee ballots must be received by December 12, 2018 for processing prior to the annual meeting. The Nominating Committee will tabulate the absentee ballots, but these votes will not be associated with specific names to maintain anonymity.
