Artist Statement
Artist, Yoga Teacher, retired Occupational Therapist with Special needs students.
My husband I have been Bahamas homeowner for 25 yrs during which time I have completed and sold many paintings as well as helped to paint large community murals.
From the UK I was a Cameroon resident for my first five years of my life. Currently I am a Salem home owner. All of these influences have guided my to express my experiences on paper, canvas and other medias. My recent painting subjects have been focused on the Greater Salem area and on Bahamas specifically the Abaco islands and seascapes.
I grew up in a family who supported the arts and encouraged me to draw and paint. My sister is a well established artist who lives in london. Painting is like meditation for soul. I become so engaged while creating work, my mind chatter disappears.
