Artist Statement
Art is fun. I am drawn to the whimsical and the playful. My Logo is a narwal, the unicorn of the sea. I plan to launch a website called “On a Whim” because I think that is how many people find and buy art. I am on Facebook with the same name.

I paint in acrylics mostly on canvas, but I love to paint on rocks, shells, wood (especially furniture), and anything unadorned. When I see a blank space I want to fill it up. I dabble with air-dry clay and make "trash art" by transforming old containers into decorative pen holders, animal sculptures, and general kitsch.

I also write (and have even published short stories in anthologies and online magazines), though I am applying for a visual art membership.
