En Plein Air Event at The Salem Maritime Festival Saturday 8/3!

The National Park Service has invited the artists of Salem Arts Association to paint and draw live at this year's Salem Maritime Festival.

Participating artists are invited to show their completed work form the event in the Salem Armory Regional Visitor Center just in time for the holidays this November/December (specific dates to be confirmed).

The Salem Maritime Festival is being held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Salem Maritime National Historic Site on Derby Street. This event is free and open to the public. Salem Maritime Festival will feature musicians, a magician, visiting vessels, historic craft demonstrators, and hands-on activities.

Salem Arts will have an information tent and raffel onsite. Artists are free to set-up and work throughout the park.
